How to calculate the RAID size of a raid 5 array

RAID 5 (parity)

Number of disks -5
Single disk size-10GB

Usage Capacity  40 GB
Speed gain 4x read speed, no write speed gain

Fault tolerance 1-drive failure

RAID 10- Mirror+stripe

Number of disks -5
Single disk size-10GB

Usage Capacity 20 GB
Speed gain 4x read and 2x write speed gain
Fault tolerance 1-drive failure

There should be an even number of disks in RAID 0+1

RAID 6 (Double parity)

Number of disks -5
Single disk size-10GB

Usage Capacity 30 GB
Speed gain 3x read speed, no write speed gain

Fault tolerance 2-drive failure
